Want to submit to Quilt?

Here’s everything you need to know.

Submissions to Quilt are open to undergraduate students across all disciplines at Queen’s.

Academic submissions must be dedicated to literary analysis (essays on literature). Academic works must be 1000-3000 words in length and adhere to MLA 8 guidelines.

Creative pieces must be under 2000 words at the absolute maximum. Aim for 1500 as a safe maximum, but overall, try to keep your creative work short, clean, and graceful. We accept prose and poetry.

To avoid copyright or Turnitin complications, we ask that all submissions be limited to graded and returned works, recreationally composed works (i.e., not produced on commission or under employment), and previously unpublished works.
